About MACA Islamic Weekend School

MACA Sunday School, part of the Muslim American Community Association in Voorhees, NJ, is committed to nurturing young Muslim minds in faith, character, and community spirit.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to fostering a strong Islamic identity, teaching the values and practices of faith, and building lifelong connections for our students. Through accessible education and passionate volunteer teachers, we help every child experience the beauty of Islam and feel proud of their heritage.

Our Vision

Students at MACA Weekend Islamic School have a solid understanding of their Muslim-American identity and are well-versed in Islamic teachings, including the Quran and the Sunnah. They express their commitment to Islam and the Prophet’s teachings (pbuh) by maintaining close family relationships, participating in community activities, and showing respect for everyone within the Muslim Ummah and society at large. They are guided by strong moral values and are on a path to becoming responsible, contributing members of our community. As they continue to grow, these students are well-prepared to expand their knowledge of Islamic principles further.

We provide a safe, inclusive educational environment where children learn Quranic studies, Islamic history, Arabic, and the principles and values guiding a Muslim’s life. Our volunteer educators, experienced in working with diverse student backgrounds, aim to make Islamic learning relevant, accessible, and engaging.

At MACA, we foster a sense of belonging, curiosity, and service, preparing students to embody Islamic teachings both at home and in society. Community connection, affordable tuition, and a strong support network are the hallmarks that set MACA apart as a trusted center for Islamic education in South Jersey.
