Mr. Aqil Khan

As a dedicated founding member of the MACA team since 2001, he has consistently devoted his efforts to promoting growth and education within the community. Through the establishment and leadership of the Islamic Weekend School by 2010, he has cultivated a supportive atmosphere where students can learn and flourish. 

Furthermore, as founding president of the Pakistan American Society of South Jersey (PASSJ) and a member of the Camden County Cultural Awareness Commission, Khan has organized numerous social, cultural, and educational programs benefitting not only Voorhees but all of South Jersey.

His remarkable contributions have been recognized with numerous accolades from community leaders, township officials, Mayor, Senate and Congress, and various State representatives. Additionally, his work has been featured in several local and state news outlets and media publications.

He has received multiple accolades from both government bodies and private organizations. In early 2024, he received the 2023 Community Service Award by Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club. Most recently, he was honored as the Best Voorhees Citizen by the Mayor.
