Early Islamic Education
The Best Gift for Your Little Ones!
Starting early is always a good idea! Our school offers fun learning activities for all kids in kindergarten. Children will get to learn about Allāh — who He is, why we worship Him, and the blessings He gives us. To enroll in Kindergarten, kids need to be 5 years old by August 30th of the enrollment year, and a birth certificate must be provided during registration.
Classes begin in Kindergarten and go all the way up to Senior grade level. The Level 8 and Senior programs last for two years. Besides the regular subjects, upper-level classes also discuss current events and connect them to Islamic principles. Students will learn how to be proactive while being good Muslims and responsible citizens in our country.
Awards and Recognition
The Sunday school hands out several awards for Academic Excellence and other competitions, like quizzes and essay contests, that take place during the year. At the end of the year, awards are given to A-Honor students based on their attendance, class performance, and overall academic success. Nearly two-thirds of our students make it onto the Honor Roll and are celebrated in front of everyone at our annual graduation awards event.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Along with their regular classes, students can enjoy some extra-curricular activities that make learning fun. We try to organize these activities and field trips as frequently as we can. For our older students, we have special programs and events that invite parents to join in, helping to strengthen family connections and create lasting memories. We’ve also welcomed different speakers to come and share their insights with us.
Lunch & Treats
Our Sunday School will serve cheese pizza and juice for lunch. We typically don’t expect kids to need extra slices. For special events, we might offer different food instead of pizza. Parents are welcome to pack a lunch for their child if they choose. Sometimes, teachers work with volunteer parents and students to organize special feast days. If anyone wants to help out, parents and students can bring treats and light snacks to share.
